Most remarkable story of the night is the GOP win on NY’s Long Island, won by House GOP newcomer Lee Zeldin.
This is a Democratic district and he won by 10 percentage points.
That used to be Rock ribbed right wing country a LONG time ago. For a Pub to win at all much less that big is a miracle today.
The demographics have changed.
Its going to be nearly impossible to elect a GOP President.
CA, NY, IL and PA are out of reach.
And FL is turning Purple. Rick Scott barely won re-election tonight.
Its an uphill battle in 2016 given the presidential year electorate and EC terrain.
Not so. With Voter ID, and clean elections, none of these close races would have been anywhere near close tonight.
If the GOP goes along with amnesty, you’ll have several million new Democratic voters.
