Again I don’t agree with this mindset....there was repudiation in 12 yet the republican base stayed home...yet that wasn’t the same this year...Had it not been palatable for republicans to show at the polls then I’d agree if it was a simple flip but the trouncing in the house followed by the Senate and governorships this goes well beyond what you are implying...
I just heard Charles Krauthammer say it was a repudiation of Obama that was key to the GOP victories. You may disagree but feel like “mindset” is in good company. :)
