agree, here in st Johns the polling stations were packed and we are very much a republican county.
Lets just hope we never see Crist in power and he moves north.

I will never forget that election!! Not ever! lol! The only way I kept my sanity was to join freerepublic and read all the analysis. I learned a lot. My favorite sign at that time was “IF YOU CAN READ THIS YOU MUST BE A REPUBLICAN!”

I have a better idea. Let’s send him some bubble wrap, shipping boxes, and packing tape and urge him to move to Liberia.

Good for her. I live in Broward County. Weather has been perfect all day. No reason anyone could not make it to the polls.

To: what's up

IIRC that’s how John Ashcroft “lost” in 2000 against the dead Carnahan.
A federal judge kept the voting going for a few extra hours in St. Louis.
Just long enough to make sure the GOP candidate lost.
Here there is a good chance that the slowdown was caused by the democrats in the first place.
All that “calibrating” etc. takes time after all.
The good news is that the Crist campaign feels they need this extension to have a chance at winning.
Scott better be lawyered up to the eyeballs.

How can you extend voting in just one county? Wouldn’t you have to extend every county in the state or none at all?

Because Broward county is run by jacked up cracked up f’ed up elections supervisors as well as the population of transplanted yankee a@@holes of the liberal persuasion. They make the rules up as they go.

The SecState of FL was appointed by Rick Scott the governor. This is not going to happen, so they can “find” more ballots to stuff.

There was to be a Nov. 4 County Commission seat primary run-0ff (get this) for Democrats only.... and it was taken off the Nov 4 county ballots (put off til Dec 4).

SO, this means a lot of local democrat voters have not bothered to show up for.... Crist. LOL. And he wants to go “find” them somehow with pay to play street money drunk walkins. LOL.

Cheats, liars and frauds, all those skanks. Hey, they had early voting to get out their cheats. Too bad.

That was the precedent in Bush v Gore. Don't cherry-pick your counties. If you want to change the rules in one county, equal protection says you do it in all of them.

No, looked it up. Apparently there was scheduled by the confirmed incompetent local county commission (or other type) offices— a partisan (for registered democrats only!!!) primary local runoff. She originally put these on the same voting day Nov. 4th as the statewide election (to save money, or allow write ins from the haitian drug gangs... who knows?).

THEN, after massive complaints from the primary candidates (all dems)... she took the election off the Nov. 4 ballot— and VOILA! there are fewer local dems who would turn out than there would have been before. And Crist is desperate to stuff the boxes— that’s what they do there with this broad running things.
