From Midterm Elections 2014: Live Updates

SHAHEEN PROJECTED TO WIN NEW HAMPSHIRE SENATE RACE

ABC's BEN SIEGEL: Based on our exit poll and our analysis of the vote in so far, ABC News projects that New Hampshire Democratic Sen. Jeanne Shaheen has won re-election against Republican candidate Scott Brown. Brown, a former Massachusetts senator, shocked the political world in 2010 by winning the seat long held by the late Ted Kennedy.

LOL...that would be most like a modern Republican, to concede when 600 votes up...:)

(I am only being facetious, I know how the counting process generally works!)

Believe me, I will be quite happy to have been proven to be a butthead for having buried Scott Brown too early. I hope he wins.

Good question. I admit I don’t know... I unfortunately live in the People’s Republik of Connecticut. I don’t follow NH politics that closely...

A couple of amusing comments from the WMUR-TV website (Red Hampshire)...

I Love New Hampshire but I don't like liberals my last day in New Hampshire is in January fourth and the day I leave New Hampshire my Confederate flag is going to be flying on the bed of my truck.

Looks like the 'Flee State Project' is underway...then there's this...

There should be competency testing for voters. This would eliminate most women and put some integrity back into democracy.

...and this...

Too bad they didn't get rid of the three broads, I'm sick of listening to them, I can't stand their voices, it's like listening to chalk on a chalkboard. This country should never have let women vote to begin with, this is why this country is in the state that it is today. Send women back to the kitchen and take care of the house and laundry.

Looks like the males in Red Hampshire are getting FED UP with being ruled by radical marxist pro-choice womyn...

Didn’t the supposedly “conservative” people of NH have enough political stones to stand up for themselves, or did they just roll over and give up?

Give up? Nah...they're leaving...moving south where they can actually vote FOR someone...Red England; it's time to join the 'Flee State Project'...head south and west, and do it while moving vans are still available.

I think anyone who believes the spread of liberalism will be stopped by running away from it and hiding behind a state line is mistaken.

Even red states have a germ of the cancer growing in them. Liberalism is a one way ratchet. Conservatives have to man the walls and battle 24 x 7 with no sleep. Liberals bide their time, taking little pieces as they gain them, getting a little more each time.

There is never any shortage of well meaning, ill-informed independents and squishy conservatives who help them implement their will, bit by tiny bit.

Lincoln was born in Kentucky but yet he’s called “Honest Abe from Illinois”

Point being Shaheen was running ads bashing Brown for his 'carpetbagger' status while bragging that she was 'from here.' Truth in advertising: Shaheen has been here LONGER than Brown, but Brown was actually born in the area (Maine, right across the river from NH)...the whole thing shouldn't have even been an issue.

Shaheen got away with it thanks to LIV's.

K, didn’t know that. So why didn’t Brown bring that out?

So why didn’t Brown bring that out?

He did, but many Red Hampshire women saw him as a threat to their abortion rights (even though he's pro-choice) and flocked to Shaheen; long a champion of baby-killers.
