CNN says Fairfax co. all in, Gillespie still alive.— Kyle Smith (@rkylesmith) November 5, 2014
Saw that. Woo hoo!
...hard to imagine Fairfax going R.
very hard.
WOW!
That’s good, but aren’t the dems holding a couple other counties in reserve?
Maybe Virginia should give that county to Maryland....
Looks like down 2.5k with 99% in.
If Gillespie wins, he owes the retired military and some active duty military who are residence of Virginia. I LOVE that the military may win this race for Conservatives and Virginia.
Comstock (R) really beat Foust (D) in No. VA. This could hold !!!
That it’s even this close this late is amazing.
Hey Ben!
Great night!
Georgia just projected for us!
Maryland just MIGHT go for Republican Governor (so keep that county out of Maryland....lol).
Yes, I just saw on CNN that there is one coastal military county that still has votes coming in.
Give real numbers please !
No doubt there are boxes of uncounted RAT votes in a closet somewhere in case they are needed.
96% of the vote: Gillespie 49% - Warner 48%

Even if Ed loses he accomplished a great thing..
Warner has been Thunderstruck as has the whole Dem Party

I see it at 2400 votes behind but with only 92% reporting
Come on Ed
And Arlington County is over 98% in. Northern VA is pretty well all counted.
I spent 5 years in Tidewater Va. Lots of retired military including my next door neighbors who may have been the best neighbors one could have. Lots of old Va. folk who are also conservative. Still if not for the military retirees it might be liberal.
My part of Florida, (the panhandle) is also full of military retirees but the locals are probably even more conservative than they are.
Fox said Gillespie might run for governor in 3 years. Considering what a great race he has run, I would think he might be a strong contender in 2017.
