I said this several weeks ago, Beck said last week, Levin has been preaching it to the choir for a while...

Listening to Fox News late yesterday afternoon on would have thought they were singing the praises of Obama’s ability to negotiate and compromise! Singing how now the bills Harry Reid had hog-tied in the Senate would force Obama to make his own decisions. Yes, Obama would finally have to compromise and use his pen to sign or veto bills.

Stunned as I watched this near euphoric melee, I said, “that was the old America.”

The question becomes in my mind, does the new Senate have to power to override a Presidential Veto? Does the new Senate have the courage to use the rule of the democrats to straighten this lawlessness out? Will the new Senate understand they MUST restore order to the country...long before they restore archaic decorum to the Senate?

Personally, I do not think they are ready nor have an appropriate strategy both within the walls of congress or outside the walls of congress to get this monumental job done. Instead we will watch the GOPe glad slap each other on the back at their win...and then squander it for lack of understanding the forces in front of them.

You got it…. or - they DO understand the forces in front of them, and are happy to go along with fundamental transformation because it gives them more power and money.
