Wouldn’t it be great if McConnell could muster up a nano gram of testosterone, and put Reid in his place? Just once, as a morale builder after six eight years of being punked. Doesn’t have to be crass, but let the people that supported the Republicans, and Harry Reid know you can play the bully game too.
I'd like to see McConnell, or who ever is the new majority leader is, stand up with a huge sheaf of papers and say directly in to the camera, "As I took my place as the majority leader, I found these papers in the bottom drawer of Harry Reid's desk. These are ALL the legislation that Harry Reid, and the Democrats have sat on for the last 6 years. My first priority, once the new Congress is seated, is to bring these bills up for an up or down vote."
I remember when the dems were in the minority that Reid would give speeches how the senate's majority should not be allowed to bully the minority. When he became majority leader he quickly became more and more accretive to the point where he dispensed with many of the traditions and basically shut the senate down.
