We’ve been here 3+ years now and are extremely happy. We moved after I got laid off/retired from the Shuttle program in ‘11. We’d been planning on moving here for about 12 years anyway.
My father-in-law used to make thermal blankets for the shuttles when he worked for Northrop back in the eighties. He was an upholsterer and went to work for them after he retired. I can’t remember which one he and my mom-in-law went to watch launched but it was a great experience for him.
I’m glad you are happy here. Nevada is a great state.
