This may be the best comment about the election from a liberal heard all night.
Liberal MSNBC contributor Jimmy Williams said the “old white people” in the South who vote Republican are “going to die someday” and hopefully usher in a new era of Democratic rule in the region.
Host Krystal Ball, a former failed Democratic congressional candidate, asked Williams whether white Southerners should just be written off by the party, but Williams said never, saying that since they are “for people” and Republicans aren’t, they would eventually win the day.
“Mitt Romney only won South Carolina with 53 [percent], John McCain with 52,” he said. “That’s a changing South. Those old white people? They’re going to die someday. And who’s going to be there to replace them? People that want you to be for them, not against them.”
Abby Huntsman, as is her custom despite her ridiculous label as the show’s “conservative” voice, did not push back at all on Williams’ rant. She did suggest he run for office someday.
Williams also echoed Sen. Mary Landrieu’s (D., La.) desperate remarks about President Obama’s race playing a factor in people’s decisions and being largely to blame for Senate Democrats and Democratic challengers being vulnerable this cycle.
He did not note that Obama’s approval rating is badly underwater across the country and that the vast majority of Americans polled think the U.S. is heading in the wrong direction.
Well, at least they have something to look forward to.

The Democrats have an amazing political strategy don’t they? It goes something like this:
‘You’re white and over the age of 35? We hate you and want you to die. But we don’t understand why won’t you vote for us?’
... only to be replaced by the much more conservative gen x and gen y folks who will also vote Republican, but may potentially be less white(or just not care about race at all). Too bad he didn't think this one through--looks to me like many of the R winners last night are much younger than the D people who managed to hold on to their seats, but math is apparently too difficult for Democrats.
It’s not the old white guys the Dems need to worry about … it’s the youth. They’ve been voting more Republican since 2008.

Going by how the black vote goes Democrat, then about 94% of them want the fruits of someone else's hard work handed to them by the government, and the other 6% want to make it on their own.

I blame it on poor education, or more accurately, mis-education. They have been deliberately mis-educated to believe in government handouts as a way of life, a societal crime in my book. Blacks from the Caribbean nations and even in Africa don’t think this way that American blacks do. And their peer pressure to conform to ‘their standards’ is appalling to other blacks from elsewhere......................

More to the point, any party whose power depends on an oppressed electorate must ensure that electorate stays oppressed in order to keep that power.................

That depends on whether or not you buy into the false narrative that blacks are oppressed. The only groups that appear to be oppressed where I works are asian and white males, with consideration being given for promotion to women and various ethnicities first.. In fact there are about a dozen company sponsored "diversity" groups including gays, pacific islanders, women, etc. (Have you ever heard of the congressional white caucus?)
Old liberals are not immortal, either.
I use the term ‘oppressed’ only to serve as an indicator of the mindset of the target group. They think they are ‘oppressed’ and as a result the powers that control the party stoke that fear and manipulate the masses.The masses believe it and are driven to believe that only those people in power in the party can ‘save’ them from that oppression, real or imagined.
Witness the Michael Brown and Trayvon Martin incidents. The fears of the masses are manipulated by the so-called ‘leaders’ of the community to cause real violence and social upheaval, constantly rubbing salt into old wounds to inflame them and direct their energies to their own purposes.
Evil is as evil does, and truth and evidence matters not. The crowds believe the lies over the truth as they have already been conditioned to believe the lies. ..............
