Based on polling data before and after, Pat Roberts (KS) owes his continued career to Cruz’s visit. Roberts was already a Cruz supporter. He stood with Cruz when he was filibustering Obamacare.

Cruz needs to be leader of the senate instead of McConnell, at least he would do something about odumbo’s arrogance. Cruz needs to be President. And being Majority Leader off the Senate would get in the way of running for the Presidency.
Jeff Sessions is the guy you want running the Senate.
