Putting his own spin on the election results that saw gains for conservative candidates throughout much of the nation, state NAACP President Rev. William Barber said Tillis' "narrow victory" was a repudiation of his policies, not a validation of them.

Dear Lord, THANK YOU for taking me out of North Carolina! The prog Yankees and the race baiters have about taken it over, and will soil it just like they've already soiled their own nests.

NC is the place to be. In spite of the influx of thousands of New England Yankees and their politics, of the solid block of black votes for the democrats, it has Republican (mostly conservative) house, senate and governor. They have done wonders transforming NC enacting bills which moves the state more and more to the right. We just ousted a Obama clone senator and replaced her with the speaker of the NC house who knows how to move people to the right. The Barbers are screaming, the media is weeping, but the job is getting done. Come back to NC!!
