She's full of sh!t. She knew exactly what her gesture meant, and her pathetic attempt to deflect the warranted criticism of her race based pandering is pitiful, IMO. Politicians, particularly those on the left, are a despicable breed, with few and far between that could be rated as "exceptions", IMO.

Minn is probably the same as most states like NY, Cali, Washington,Oregon, etc....normal good people with values living in nice states that sadly have a big city problem....the givmedats ultimate paradise...

Nice and non controversial? Right! When a Minneapolis resident sees a bumper sticker deviating from the leftist orthodoxy, the response is usually violent. You would be lucky if you only got your car keyed. When I left it was getting to suggest China during the Cultural Revolution.
