...Take A Wild Guess Why This Basketball Player Wont Stand for National Anthem
This basketball player digs Islam enough to skip out on the national anthem. Check it out
David Richard-USA TODAY Sports On Wednesday, before the Cavaliers game in Utah, those following Cleveland noticed Dion Waiters did not join the team during the pre-game presentation, including the singing of the national anthem. When asked by the Plain Dealers Chris Haynes, Waiters attributed his absence to his religious beliefs: Waiters informed Northeast Ohio Media Group that he is a Muslim and that he plans to excuse himself prior to the national anthem from here on out. Its because of my religion, Waiters told NEOMG. Thats why I stayed in the locker room. Waiters says he is rededicating himself more to his Muslim faith. He appears to be in a happier state. As Haynes explains, Waiters was absent not only for the anthem, but for lineup introductions a first because it was his first game of the season coming off the bench. In the Cavaliers next game on Friday in Denver, Waiters remained out of the starting lineup, but did join his teammates for the anthem.
A part of so called “Diversity.” We must accept them, not the
other way around.
One more great reason to root against Cleveland.
Throw shoes at this bum whenever he shows up.
Might as well show him we understand his so-called “culture”.
To turn one’s back on the country and the culture that developed the economic system that (a) gives him the freedom to do this, and (b) make some coin on whatever he’s able to pass off as talent just torques me off.
Worthless pissant bacha-boy...
In fact, since he’s so into his pseudo-”religion”, he shouldn’t even be playing sports. Haram, don’t you know...
Freaking poser.
They should move to a place with a flag they feel like saluting!
Send the pos to Ferguson in a few days and keep yer fingers crossed.
Certainly makes it harder to be a Cavs fan
Has his Iman arranged for his terrorist training yet? I read Islam’s goal is that the men and woman of fighting age must receive training. And, in fact many do.
Evidence that Mohammedanism is not a religion, but a political ideology, thus not entitled to First Amendment protections as a religion.
