What a headline.

Here’s another “Winter likely to be colder than summer”.

Edwards (and Mayo’s) chances make Mary’s look good in comparison.

I’m not worried about Fast Eddie coming to Congress, but I also don’t know anything about Garrett Graves. I also don’t know about Ralph Abraham in the district up north where voters kissed off Vance McAllister.

Garrett Graves seems to “the establishment candidate”™ but far to the right of RINO jerk Dan Claitor. I think he’ll be a typical LA Republican Congressman and possible future candidate for higher office. He’s well regarded for his post-Katrina work.

Abraham, a doctor, seemed to come out of nowhere. I’m glad he made it instead of the guy who’s related to those Duck people, who foolishly endorsed McAllister last time over conservative Niel Riser.

I’ve met Abraham a couple of times, and so far am satisfied he will do us proud. He’s sixty, so it’s not likely he’s on an ego trip. Politically, he’s not beholden to anyone, and hasn’t been particularly active in politics before. A couple of folks I know who are drug salesmen, and that called on him said that what you see is what you get.

I think he’s an upgrade from Rodney Alexander and Vance McAllister.
