It’s “Illegal Pete” not “Ilegal Pedro” and if it were, so what. Just like “Sambo’s” restaurant was named after the owners, not the fictional character who was Indian, not black.

I miss the Sambo’s in the Wilshire District in LA. Service was so efficient that if you ordered coffee, you could never empty out your cup because a waitress would always be there to top it off. As far as I know, there is still a Sambo’s in Santa Barbara.

Good one. Illegal Pedro’s crossed my mind too but I also thought things would be all well and PC with
Undocumented Pedro’s.

Yes, except the restaurant chain used the Little Black Sambo and the Tiger characters as their motif.
