I went to the National Journal website and blew up that map. It’s interesting that although most of Minnesota and the Twin Cities was solid blue, most of the Twin Cities suburbs were red. I thought even the burbs around Minny-St.Paul were blue.
All of us ‘makers’ live in a ring around the ‘takers’. Farm subsidies and such make the outlying areas blue.
Minnesota is such a weird state. If it weren’t for my husband and his family here I’d be looooong gone. I’m a native South Dakotan who finds it frustrating to live amongst the weirdos.
