I really don’t see how this will help Landrieu. Do the voters in LA have any doubt that Cassidy would also vote for Keystone in the new Congress — and a lot of other things (like repeal of the ACA) that we desire. What makes this a Landrieu vote-getter?
Well, it’s like those democrats who want welfare but also cheered when Osama was killed. Not every democrat wants the enviro agenda. Not every democrat is against guns or for gay marriage. This is going for the traditional blue collar vote.
