Guess I'll do a Google Search to find out how big of a margin Sullivan won by, since this article doesn't say.

It looks like Sullivan ended up winning with 48.6 percent of the vote to 45.4 percent for Begich.

Something like 3.9%. That is, until Begich demands a recount where the dims mysteriously find two trunkfulls of votes and win by 314.

Harry Reid is in mourning. He’s insignificant - aged, angry, unethical, annoying, and useless.

Begich will finally concede sometime in 2016.

He won by a little less than 8000 votes (49% vs. 46%). No we wait for LA on December 6th. Landrieu is a big underdog, but Harry Reid is trying to save her by bringing up a vote on the XL Pipeline. It wont work.

They're still counting. Looks like they have gone through about 20,000 of the early and absentee ballots with another 20,000 to go through. Sullivan's lead has dropped from 8,150 to 7,911, nowhere near fast enough for Begish to catch up. What is unknown is which areas have been counted and which areas remain to be counted.

But at this pace, Sullivan should secure at least a 7,000 vote win. While that seems like a low amount for an entire state, it will be roughly 2.5% of the total votes, well outside the margin for a recall.

Republicans are at 52 right now (+7). Alaska would make it 53 (+8), and Louisiana could make it 54 (+9).

May shed light on the true goal of "Cash for Clunkers".... and we thought all those cars were crushed. Maybe they were crushed... but only the fronts, leaving plenty of space in the trunks.

>Republican U.S. Senate candidate Dan Sullivan defeated Sen. Mark Begich, the Democratic incumbent, in Alaska’s U.S. Senate race Wednesday – a win that gives the GOP eight Senate pickups in the midterm elections.

Making Susie Collins totally irrelevant, and making it totally unnecessary to allow the communist ex governor of Maine, comrade Angus, de, King to caucus with the Republicans.

CNN has called it for Sullivan. That says something.

But don’t any of the voters in this country find it odd that ALL of the last counted votes in a close race are for the DemocRat?

Landrieu Off the Air
By Walter Abbott

The shutoff of Mary Landrieu’s ad money has taken its toll. TV advertisements for Landrieu are almost nonexistent compared to ads for Bill Cassidy.

So what IS his position on abortion? Is he against it?

What’s the balance now, 56-44? 57 when Landrieu is ousted? I don’t care if it is filibuster-proof. I just want to know if it’s McCain/Graham/Collins/RINO-proof.

Bush’s problem in 2000-2004 was his GOP majority in the Senate put all the power in RINOs like McCain to water down his bills to make them ineffective. With Obama, it’s a whole different equation but, looking ahead to 2016, any real change for a GOP victory is dependent on whether conservatives run the Senate or just RINOs.
