A more carefully written poll would have revealed that both parties are down there in the teens.

1. Do you have a positive or negative opinion about the Democrat party?
2. Do you have a positive or negative opinion about the Republican party?
3. Do you feel that both parties are a boil on the country's buttocks and ought to be collected on a barge, set to sea, and sunk somewhere over the Marianas Trench?

I dare them to ask that one.

President Flim-Flam Leads Democrats To Midterm Massacre

The White House has denied claims that the midterm elections were a referendum on Barack Obama, but the polling data shows that they were. According to a CBS News exit poll:"

“Fifty-four percent of those surveyed said their opinion of the president influenced their vote… 34 percent said they wanted to make a statement in opposition to Mr. Obama, while 20 percent said they voted in support of him.”
