MIAMI (CBSMiami) — On August 27th at approximately 8:30 pm, four plain clothes Miami Dade Police officers pulled onto a dead end street in South Dade and arrested three young black men. The scene was captured on video camera.
According to the police report, the three men were arrested because officers claimed to see them passing what appeared to be a marijuana cigarette. When the officers approached, they said they found a marijuana cigarette on the ground near where the men were standing.

Thank God that people were saved from a marijuana cigarette.
Ok. Being arrested for some weed...no big deal nowadays...but driving him around then dropping him off someplace far... away...especially if the person is handicapped...That can get the cops in trouble.
How do they justify the resources they expended over a Marijuana joint? Let alone the treatment of this individual.
I can see using the joint as a basis to run warrant checks on them but if they came back clear send them on their way.
Not sure what to believe in this story. While I have seen plenty of video of cops acting in a petty and malicious manner, I have also learned that people in these ghettos don’t have any compunction about telling outright lies to the news.
Given that Miami is relatively crime-free, the cops probably don't have much to do.
I hope they stopped that poor blind guy from smoking that reefer before he got so high he could not see straight.

Well, in this instance you have the stepfather filming the stop and seeing his stepson placed in the cop car. And you also know that they didn’t drop him off at his home. I mean just how much additional evidence to you need?
I hate the fact that Blacks a big on crime, but it doesn’t do the current situation with Blacks any good to do this kind of stuff. It just perpetuates the problem.
Wonder if they made this bust towards the end of the shift to get some OT while processing them.
Power over people, over time wages, and chicks are their primary motivation.
Don’t you know that taking a puff from a marijuana cigarette leads to the condition known as “reefer madness”, and if the police didn’t nip it in the bud, that blind man soon would have been stealing cars and running down old ladies in the street while listening to jazz music?
How could anyone be so unkind. To arrest a man for drivin' while blind.
