Funny how immigration reform / amnesty has become cause celebre since the election outcome was known. You would think the GOPe would make their agenda known for smaller government, lower taxes, the important stuff you know. But it seems the defeated party has seized the day with their cause. Or is amnesty the main issue for both political parties?

For people who get W-2's and slave 60 hours a week on a straight salary, the flat tax is their friend.
That, and making sure Obamacare survives long enough to let business interests to dump the last of their healthcare plans and throw their employees on the iron mercies of the Democrat Socialist State.

For People who get a W-2 the Fair Tax means there are no deductions from their gross wages. They get to keep aLL The money they make.

Even the seeming hero of FR, Senator Cruz, is stuck on the same empty flat income tax ideas of Dick Armey and Newt Gingrich that we endured, to no profit, twenty years ago.
any system that has us pay taxes we do not owe and then get a refund from the government is also a stupid idea and should be a non-starter
any system described as “revenue neutral” shouldn’t even enter the discussion
