Alaska updated their 2014 election results web site about 25 minutes ago. An additional 7,100 votes were added in to the race for Senator. Begich got 55.0% of those votes, while Sullivan got 37.3%. Sullivan's lead dropped from 7,911 to 6,651 votes.
At that pace, if an additional 30,000 votes are counted, Begich would close to within 1,300 votes of Sullivan and within the 0.5% margin for a recount (I assume it's 0.5% for Alaska).
This could take another week....they’re driving some votes in from Minnesota
If Republicans do win the WH in 2016, the first agenda item needs to be registration reform by issuance of a uniform identification card for EVERY voter. The dead and the duplicates need to be eliminated - the demofraud factor needs to be neutralized.
This could take another week....they’re driving some votes in from Minnesota. This one is going to be stolen, And the idiot republicans will stand by and watch it happen
Refer to post #17 for the dates listed by the Alaska elections web site.
I disagree. There should not be a national ID of any sort, not even a voter ID. They should make the states make voters show valid ID to vote by threatening to withhold transportation funds or whatever.
Remember what I mentioned about the Dems going to all the villages to get out the Indian & Eskimo vote. Hell with a truck load of whiskey I could get the devil elected in the First Nation. The dead the lost and the drunk vote in Alaska often and Dem.
Al Franken.
Then get Adelson and the Koch brothers to sign a check, and then let’s get in there and play even dirtier than the Dems do. This is war. And if you’re going to actually win a war, you have to burn the rules and do what you have to do. I don’t care about winning “fair and square” anymore. Just win.
The Alaska election site says there were 255,000 votes cast. If that is true, there is only 2-3 thousand left to count. No way, there is 30,000.

I’m hearing that only roughly 20k votes are left. Do you know where the outstanding ballots are?
That was before this batch was included
Right. So 36,000+ minus 7,100 counted still leaves around 29,000. That plus whatever arrives in accordance with the rules listed in post #17 in this thread.
I think the batch held the Begich favored votes. Do you where the remaining ballots are? I think rest should overall favor Sullivan.
One local Indian viet vet I know just got 160 acres for his vet service; nice piece down river. Pretty quick he sold it to some outsider for 80K. Money was all gone within 6 months, lucky my friend made it through all the bucks without killing himself in the process.
That count actually included about 12k votes. I’m still seeing on twitter about 20k probably remaining.
I didn’t know those dog sleds would be so slow getting the votes in.
If by Twitter you mean #aksen, their table is missing the data file for Nov 11 at 22:23 Alaska local time. There were 246,130 votes tallied at that time.
I’m hearing that those areas that just reported were supposed to favor Begich. I think remaining ones are on Sullivan’s side.
I thought this race was called for Sullivan several days ago?
