We have only ourselves to blame.

We elected all these Amnesty Supporters masquerading as Republicans.

All we can do is PUNISH THEM in 2016, but Amnesty is likely a done deal.

First by Executive Fiat, followed by a new law in 2015.

Anyone who thinks the GOP, or more then 2-3 GOP members of the Senate will oppose legalizing those here illegally now, is just plain stupid.

What would our great pResident do if congress sent up a bill to legalize, as citizens, most of those signed up and waiting legally in line for many years?

All of my adult life I have been a supporter of low taxes for the rich(typical Republican). Now I believe they do not pay enough taxes and this is the reason.

Amnesty is the last hill to die on. Amnesty is ball game. We either stop this or it’s over.

I am glad someone else here agrees. They deserve to pay higher taxes not because they are rich but because what is happening is their fault.

The only way to “get the rich” is a wealth tax instead of an income tax. Wealth taxes don’t work because it is so easy to hide wealth. Not so with income.

THOSE are the groups/people who must be held accountable, punished and imprisoned for destroying this nation. Finally, someone starts to go after the ACTUAL targets.

Amnesty is the last hill to die on.

I told the Free Republic group which knows me (Jim Robinson was present) that immigration was THE impending problem and everything else paled by comparison. Told them YEARS ago.

"Wealth taxes don’t work because it is so easy to hide wealth"

It could be done.

Our commie friends have come up with some innovative ways...

Banking Rugs that don't allow international transfer without first doing escrow and reporting to the IRS...Estate Taxes...Appraisals/Assessments of property (real and financial).

May not get it all, but you could get a large portion.

If the right teams with the left, the rich could be sentenced to death for their exploitation of the masses lol

“Amnesty is ball game.’

No, it’s the first battle in the imminent war. We need create uncertainty and fear. Make it known to the invaders that the green card will ID them and their families for forced deportations after Buckwheat is gone.

All together the 400 wealthiest Americans are worth a staggering $2.29 trillion, up $270 billion from a year ago. That’s about the same as the gross domestic product of Brazil, a country of 200 million people. The average net worth of list members is $5.7 billion, $700 million more than last year and a record high. An impressive 303 of the 400 saw the value of their fortunes rise compared to a year ago. Only 36 people from last year’s list had lower net worths this year. Twenty-six people fell off the list; another six people died, including businessman and Tampa Bay Buccaneers owner Malcolm Glazer.

There are 27 newcomers....

The real economic problem is that of manufacturing having been shut down here and moved elsewhere. It would be wise to start with trying to see the Keystone XL pipeline through to the refineries first, and support open source equipment designs and prototypes for low cost equipment and domestic production. Cut down state and local regulations against owner-built housing and local zoning laws against new, small manufacturing shops in rural areas. If we all have enough to do, the big shots will have no cause for importing foreign slaves or rich foreign bosses. They’ll be too busy with trying to get them out of upscale neighborhoods.

The Wall Street Rich/Chamber of Commerce have as much influence in this regard as the Foundations mentioned.

They own the GOP, lock, stock and barrel.

Perhaps they would not be such strong advocates if they knew it was them that would pay the price for all the extra welfare and crime and education etc.

As it stands they expect US to pay that bill.

Quote from a person who posted an earlier message here: The schools have no choice when it comes to providing K-12 education. SCOTUS made that mandatory with Plyler vs Doe in 1982. Here in Fairfax County, Virginia we pay $104 million a year for ESOL instruction for 31,000 students.

*******

My post: That 1982 Supreme Court ruling is the reason we need Constitutional amendments like the following to try to control illegal immigration:

1. "School attendance: Only citizens, legal residents, those with special student visas can attend elementary, high school, and colleges in the United States."

2. "One parent must be a citizen before a newborn child is given automatic citizenship."

3. Felony: We must finally get very serious and declare that crossing the border illegally is a felony. It sounds mean to call it a felony, but we must do it, if we will ever have any chance of controlling our borders. Having the same illegals crossing our borders over and over is wrong, wrong, and wrong.

Illegal immigrant parents come to the United States for the wonderful benefits that their children can receive, like a quality education and great health care. Can you blame them for making the dangerous, long trip with their young children, or sending their children by themselves with the hope that the United States will automatically let them stay?

I don't understand how a child can illegally cross the southern border one day and automatically be eligible to enroll in public school the next day. That is wrong.

It is worse than that. Your child has to have immunization records to prove he/she is up to date before entering school. Illegals not so much... And then they are mixed with your children...
