me too.

I used to have all her records on LP.

The sound quality on this YouTube is amazing. They must have digitally cleaned up the record noise.

The endings, though are still how i remember them; totally ABRUPT. when the cutting needle runs out of wax!

No fade! hahaha.

I've been picking up the box sets when I can. (I keep getting interrupted by such boxes as volumes one and two of The Complete Motown Singles, The Complete Stax-Volt Singles 1961-68, Michael Bloomfield: From His Head to His Heart to His Hands, Muddy Waters: The Complete Aristocrat and Chess Singles, As and Bs, 1947-62, heh heh heh . . . ) They have done a great job in cleaning up the sound where possible. And the abrupt endings are still intact . . . ;)

#9 – Captain & Tennille: “The Way I Want to Touch You”

Mr. & Mrs. Daryl Dragon had worked together as keyboard players for the Beach Boys. They formed a duo playing a restaurant in the L.A. area and recorded this song, which led to a contract with Herb Alpert’s and Jerry Moss’ A&M Records. Their first hit, “Love Will Keep Us Together”, written by Neil Sedaka and Howard Greenfield, became the biggest selling single of the year. This song, re-recorded at A&M, became their second hit.
