When Hannity Asks Bush About Obama, His Answer Shows True Class
QPolitical ^ | 11/14/14

In an extremely large contrast to how George W. Bush has been treated as a former president, he refused to criticizes Barack Obama while he currently sits in office. The brilliant part of it all is how much Obama took jabs at our former president while Bush was leading our nation.

"W” Explained that he was growing tired of the limelight and didn’t feel the need to make headlines by speaking out. Bush went on to stay that despite the unpopularity in Texas, whenever Obama comes to Texas, Obama is greeted by none other than George W. Bush himself!

Here is what I do not understand. We now know, based on the Oct NY Times article, that there were stock piles of chemical weapons in Iraq. I might even buy the reason Bush kept the truth quite because he didn’t want the islamos to go after the weapons. Yet, Ted Kennedy stood of the floor of the Senate and called the man a liar. Wasn’t Kennedy on the Senate Intelligence Committee. He must have had access to the same info that Bush and Rove had. In my opinion, the “Bush Lied” mantra did more to hurt our war effort then any other single act. Was Ted Kennedy that despicable?

The biggest problem with this is not that Bush will not criticize Obama, but that he does not criticize the Office of the President. And this is a personal failing.

W. Bush vastly expanded the unconstitutional powers of the office; and he still does not realize that it, the office, has become a threat to our nation, and one far more serious than the enemies he fought.

As a nation, we have two horrible futures: Democrats, who seek to use the power of the presidency against our nation; and just as bad, Republicans who think “they (personally) can ‘control the power’.”

NO, they cannot. Illegitimate power cannot be ‘controlled’ and ‘used for good things’. It is just the rationalization of egos run wild.

The only sane thing is to reduce the power of the office of the president back to constitutionality. Only by doing this can a future US president be great.

If he cannot overcome his ego and do this, then nothing else he does helps America. He is part of the problem, and his legacy will be of failure.

Ya’ can’t play nice with evil. Ya’ lose every time.

We are witnessing lawlessness on a record scale and it’s okay with those in Washington. It seems there is no way of stopping the madness outside of a revolt, and we have no leader.

I never thought it would go this far nor last this long before the citizens would rise up. We did speak on Nov 4, and it wasn’t enough. They did not get the message.

“Therefore, the American people have wisely established a custom against allowing any man to hold that office for more than two consecutive terms. But every shred of power which a President exercises while in office vanishes absolutely when he has once left office. An ex-President stands precisely in the position of any other private citizen, and has not one particle more power to secure a nomination or election than if he had never held office at all, indeed, he probably has less because of the very fact that he has held the office.”
- Theodore Roosevelt

I can’t understand why there’s no proofreading anymore. It would go a long way today in writing a coherent article.

But they have a voice, if they are willing to use it. They should still be able to articulate a position on important issues.
