And then we’d have another Obamacare on our hands. No legislation impacting all Americans should be passed with a simple majority vote except to repeal previous legislation passed with a simple majority vote. Two examples come readily to mind, both favored by Democrats. The first was increased taxation in the Clinton years, made especially unattractive by taxing Social Security income and including a “retroactive” date to initiate increased taxes. The second was Obamacare and we all know what that has done.

I’ll go one step farther. Bills must pass by a 2/3 majority or they fail. Would cut a lot this one party crap from happening. And if not much can be done? All the better.
