A lot of people would like to know where to show up to apply.

Applications are submitted online, either from your own computer, or on a computer at the store.

I keep telling people, if you don’t want a minimum wage job, acquire non-minimum wage skills.

I doubt any employee at any Wal-Mart earns minimum wage. Locally, I think you can start at about $10+ for overnight work. No skills need, unless you count being willing to actually work as a skill.

It depends on the location of the store. But really, my comment is not about WalMart. It’s about people in low paying jobs that think the path to more money is to “force” their employer to pay them more.

The path to more money is to provide more value to the world. It’s why I went to drafting school and then to COBOL school and ended up making a deep six figures without college.

And A friend of mine became CIO of a large company with no college. And he just cashed in $9+ million in stock options (its a public record).

My side point is this: It’s not about education. It’s about skill and talent.
