Latest dispatch from the "dissent is patriotic" is dead front: Howard Dean has accused people who don't share his political views of being "authoritarian people who fundamentally don't believe in democracy."
Poor Howard, who declared the times to be very "frightening and disconcerting," made his astounding accusation on today's Up With Steve Kornacki while attempting to explain the Republican sweep on the statehouse level.

It’s called “projection”, Howard.
You gotta love the projecting. Every day they tell their secrets by saying that conservatives do them - lie, don’t believe in democracy, hate America, hate blacks. Whatever it is they say, THEY do it. Classic projection.
Have not met a Democrat in a long time that understands the difference between a Representative Constitutional Republic and a Democracy.
It’s pathetic. A complete failure.
I wish that people would begin to mock them for it.
I believe Howie is right about the 3rd party and I predict they will be called the ‘Cruzers’
Is this a lefthanded way of walking back his recent gem about ‘rats not understanding the voters?
OTOH...If neither party, per “Warwhoop” Dean knows what’s right, I guess that leaves him, alone as the one who DOES.
Stupid America haters that don’t understand what a REPUBLIC is. They cannot grasp that a democratic republic is not a democracy. Or rather they will not acknowledge such.
Hey Howard,
Pure, majority-rules democracy is two wolves and one sheep deciding on what to have for dinner. Great for the wolves, not so great for the sheep.
“The Democrats are the party of fascism, intolerance, and bigotry.”
AMEN
The DEMOCRAT BRAND as defined above needs to be attacked over and over again. Ruin it!!!!!
Go home Dean. You’re drunk. Again.
What we have here is a Constitutional Republic....if we can hold onto it.....per Benjamin Franklin.
Dean has the HItler comb over
Yee Hah! We DO believe in representative government, not a democracy mob, but a representative REPUBLIC.
I agree. Most “democracies” are nothing but out of control mobs pushing total chaos. This is why I hate “propositions” on ballots. That is NOT how a republic supposed to work.
Dean is a radical and unwise thinker who wouldnt know the truth if it bit him in the bum.
I assume you are saying that he was always this way. Always a Democrat and therefore always of an ilk. Thanks for you response.
Folks from other countries rarely see any difference between our parties but generally dislike the GOP because they are socialists. They fail to see how much our government has encroached on our private and public lives and how socialist our governments, federal, state and local have become.
Neither did the Founders of the REPUBLIC that the USA was supposed to be.
When the freeloaders started electing our leaders, the nation started its downward slide.
I think the signal that his mind was blowing was when, on his own campaign trail, he let out that warwhoop. To me, that was akin to the popping off of the pressure relief valve on a steam boiler. Poor ol’ H’ard Dean; his blown mind is flapping and flopping like a blown tire on a Sprint Cup race car.
> It depends on what your idea of democracy is. In the case of Democrats, its an all-powerful government capable of taking everything others have to give them everything they want.
Bingo! and great answer...: )
LOL! Thanks for the laugh.
You know, it is funny how people in other countries say they do not like us and yet if given the chance, many of those same people would move here in a second.
