“Clinton said in an interview with Politico that Republicans were helped by a larger bloc of voters who felt more strongly about the elections than members of his party.”

I guess he doesn’t believe a lot of Democrats voted against their party’s candidates; how does he explain the Red (socialist) states that will now have Republican governors? I don’t mind if he wants to live in denial; it won’t help in the long term.

True, and he doesn’t delve into WHY the anti Democrat voters felt more strongly than the pro Democrat voters. As long as they refused to contemplate that, they will stay in denial.
