The fact that Iran is building Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles proves that it intends to annihilate people on other continents — like us.
So why aren’t the Republicans speaking out forcefully on this issue? Why is it left to the prime minister of Israel to warn Americans of the serious danger they face?
As for Israel, it’s not a reasonable target for an Iranian nuclear bomb. First, Iran has been spending billions to support Hamas so that the Palestinians can take over Israel; so destroying Israel does not fit into their plans.
Second, Israel contains a number of important holy Muslim sites, which the holy Muslim ayatollahs of Iran would not destroy.
And, third, Israel not only has nuclear weapons with which it can retaliate, but it also has a proven anti-missile system — the Iron Dome — with which to shoot down any incoming nuclear bombs from Iran.
Not to mention that Israel also has one of the world’s most effective intelligence agencies — Mossad — with which to detect any possible anti-Israel nuclear plans on Iran’s part so that they can be thwarted.
On the other hand, the U.S. and Europe do not have these advantages. So if the Ayatollahs are serious about getting their money’s worth from the billions they’ve spent building nuclear arms, they’re more likely to use them, at least at first, against more vulnerable targets than Israel — just like al Qaeda attacked New York City on 9/11 rather than Tel Aviv.
