Elizabeth (Injun) Warren responds to Sen. Durbin calling her ‘a great spokesman’ for Democrats; “Senator Durbin, I have received your apparently well meaning comments with gratitude and humility, but has it occurred to you that I, uhm...I AM NOT a man? Ergo, how is it that I could be labled as a spokesMAN? I’m confused.

Is this a freudian slip, your way of expressing that no woman could ever possibly be a good spokesPERSON? I am, shall we say ‘perturbed’ by that inference. At your earliest convienance, please feel free to clarify that you are NOT on the front lines of the War On Women. Thank you so much.

Yep Durbin stepped in it.

You can’t call a woman a “spokesman” or a “chairman”.

Ever notice that the liberals never speak of the “Founding Fathers”? They say the “Framers” or “Founders” instead. I heard that they do this because of women’s lib. Even though all of the nation’s founders were men, it’s sexist against women to refer to them as men.
