WASHINGTON -- In an unprecedented step, agents from the federal Drug Enforcement Administration conducted surprise inspections Sunday, targeting the medical and training staffs of visiting NFL teams, in an effort to determine whether they violated federal drug laws governing the handling and distribution of prescription painkillers, "Outside the Lines" has learned.
A federal law enforcement official, with knowledge of the investigation, told "Outside the Lines" the inspections were motivated by allegations raised in a May 2014 federal lawsuit, filed on behalf of several prominent NFL players, who allege team physicians and trainers routinely gave them painkillers in an illegal manner to mask injuries and keep them on the field.

Just first heard about this on sports radio a short time ago. Interesting reactions. It sounds a bit like the way they use to go after dopers at the Tour de Frances. Just what the NFL needs, another blackeye or maybe they will escape scrutiny.
I hope so — w/o the NFL there's a chance more people will pay attention to the government.

Don’t give the dictator any ideas. The POS might have the DEA plant drugs on Ted Cruz, Rand Paul, Mike Lee etc. All they really have to do is have the lab just use samples from drug abusers.

And he has made good on that —the NFL is being punished.
Actually, the NFL was already highly pussified and by being so, they signaled their readiness to Become a Victim.
So they’re now being punished for not being pussified **ENOUGH**.
And they absolutely DESERVE it.
Tampa needs all the help it can get.
