The Obama administration has no intention of backing down on major environmental initiatives to fight climate change and improve air and water quality, EPA chief Gina McCarthy said Monday, dismissing Republican threats to thwart proposed regulations by starving the agency of money.

The administration’s top environmental regulator said she was moving forward with plans for tougher limits on emissions of carbon dioxide and methane, suggesting that both the White House and the public would object to any congressional effort to hamstring the agency.

“I feel very confident that the American people understand the value of the EPA,” McCarthy said at a news conference nearly two weeks after the midterm elections that gave Republicans control of both the House and Senate.

Cut their STAFFING levels. Cut the number of high level employees (executives, GS-14s & GS15s) authorized on staff as well as the number of lower level employees proportionately. Starve the beast and SUBSTANTIALLY REDUCE THE HERD! That’s something they will understand — we must not allow them to war on America.

Better yet, abolish the EPA, Energy dept, Agriculture dept, Commerce dept., etc.... He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance. Remember where that comes from? Funny how history repeats itself.

Oh boy, another one of Barry’s ivy league kooks running a federal program, who wants to disregard stupid Americans in the public and Congress. She plans to proceed unilaterally. It’s become painfully apparent that the Federal government is in the grip of an out-of-control Progressive Industrial Complex.

The EPA was formed by Congress and given permission to make regulations by them.

“I feel very confident that the American people understand the value of the EPA,”

Well if they give me an inventory of their office furniture and office equipment, detailing the average age of the items I can probably come up with an estimate.

But I have to warn you the resale value of used office equipment is pretty low right now because of the Obama economy depressing job growth.

The best thing that these REPUBLICANS can do, to reign in all these ALPHABET GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, is to cut them off at the pockets. They will eventually die off, like the dinosaurs. I’m including the IRS, EPA, Dept. Of Education, etc, and so forth. All these GOVERNMENT AGENCIES have overstepped their bounds.

The government bureaucracy is a power unto itself. They have a clear political agenda.

Should be great to watch James Inhofe as Chairman of the Environment and Public Works Committee. The EPA won’t know what hit it. Popcorn ready.
