Thanks! Finally got it right!
See, it was not as hard as it seemed!
Build the Montana class.
The Mk 46 torpedo is a joke, do we still use those?
Well, thanks for your help. I had to work at it, but finally, on about 5th try, Lo! And Behold! There was the Iowa full broadside picture I wanted to post.
Now! That is some kind of gunfire support, is it not?
I am a retired Naval Aviator, and back in the day, I made four WESTPAC cruises (2 in USS Kearsarge (CVS-33) and 2 in USS Kitty Hawk (CVA-63)). Awesome ships, each in its own way.
And, as a RAG (Replacement Air Group) Landing Signal Officer, I was aboard every West Coast aircraft carrier then in commission (1968-1970), except USS Enterprise (CVN-65), and none of those ships can hold a candle to my experience of the USS New Jersey (BB-62) “kiddie cruise” to Hawaii in 1983!
Iowa class BBs are simply the most magnificent ships the US Navy has ever commissioned, IMHO. Yes, the nuclear carriers are spectacular and high tech, etc. etc., but If I ever had to go to war again in a ship, I’d want to go in an Iowa class BB! (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iowa-class_battleship)
