Recall a couple of years ago when the border got a bit tough due to the elections going on, so the Reconquistadors thought they'd buffalo the Canadians the way they do the Americans.
So they started turning up in Canadian airports demanding asylum, attempting to get in/stay in with forged docs just like they do here, etc. The usual hustle.
Canadians didn't stand for it for a millisecond. Booted 'em right out.

They babble about open immigration and open borders only with regard to the U.S. / Mexico border. Everyone else tells them to pound sand when they hear this ridiculous crap.

Since the Kennedy Immigration Reform of 1965, Latino immigrants, legal and illegal, and their families have become the largest ethnic group in the country.
It simply does not make sense. I have worked all over Mexico and IMNVHO it is a country of vast potential. Why the hell Mexican people are diverted here instead of staying at home to develop Mexico is what is ludicrous.

In the early days of California there were spanish but no mexicans.
