So where does this leave Mary Landrieu? The whole point of this was to prove to low information voters in Louisiana that she was in favor of the pipeline to help Louisiana’s energy industry. And that she had clout to make it happen, etc. as we lead up to the Dec. 6th runoff. So where does this leave her? She clearly has no such clout, and if she wins the runoff she will be in the Democrat minority anyway. What does this show voters as to why they should re-elect her???

In fact this is the second time since the election, the Democrats have dumped on Mary Landrieu.
First, they quit spending money on ads and now this. Maybe they like her even less than the the GOP does.
You are right about her trying to show her clout. The real interesting part is Cassidy is the one that introduced the bill in the House. I guess that could be used to show the Low Information Voter where the clout is.
