The protesters don’t need guns. They have the DHS squads for armed backup. Not sure which side the National Guard will be on. You’d have to think, however, that with a Dem governor sending them in, they’ll also be with the protesters.

I really like reading the comments from the UK. Usually they’re hilariously clueless on the subject of self protection. This time, they seemed to be more intelligent than usual. The comments weren’t as funny, and the red and green arrows suggested the readers are a better lot than usual. But there was still one gem that gave me a good belly laugh. Somebody said that with all those gun purchases, when they don’t get to shoot any bad guys, the gun buyers will start shooting each other and robbing each other. It was nice to see that got more red arrows than green, while still giving me my “stupid liberal” fix.
They’ll riot because Wilson is vindicated. They’ll riot because he was guilty. Either way Ferguson is in trouble.

The people buying guns this week are not big on planning. They’re the same ones who buy milk and bread after the first 1/4” of snow in a major snow storm. Yes, you want bread and milk, if you’re smart, but it’s nice to get them before the last minute. Particularly with guns, where they’re not as easy to use as twisting off a cap, a prudent person gets them early enough to put in some regular range time.
I can picture a scenario in which an accidental discharge in the correct wrong time can trigger a tsunami of reflexive actions in which several things happen including reducing the looter populations, decreasing EBT customers and accomplishing urban renal in one fell swoop. unintended and un anticipated of course..
