She was being monitored and nobody knew she’d left the house? What, exactly, does the monitoring consist of? I presume she was self-monitoring? If so, that’s the same as no monitoring at all.

I thnk monitoring is having you take your temperature once or twice a day, and when the nurse calls on the phone, you tell him/her what the reading was. Pretty useless.
