If you take the time to read what they say, their stories present the fear and intimidation they felt. I am from an older generation. I remember the shaming and disbelief, and what it took even to get police to believe that a crime took place.

If you weren't alive then and aren't a female, you may not understand; hear me now, believe me later. Even today, many rapes go unreported because of the trauma involved. Are you saying they should just shut up about it because... why?

Justice delayed is justice denied.

It seems that once one of them had the courage to finally say something, it has opened the floodgates for others who were misused; there are also many similarities in their stories about how he approached them, even though the alleged victims have no other connection.
