I agree, in fact I think MOST of the amendments from eleven on have been mistakes. A case could even be made that the bill of rights was a mistake. Some of the founders were convinced that the addition just created an opportunity for people to find loopholes. They may have been right.
That’s the bottom line. Every word in Constitution just gives corrupt lawyers an opportunity to change intended meanings.
