How about this. To vote they have to sign up so they can get their card. And while we are at it, if you do not have a voter if card you cannot vote.

In some cases, yes.
However this EO, as onerous as it is, seems to be fairly narrow in scope. It has a defined time limit/expiration, and it only defers prosecution and deportation.
Is clearly designed as a political weapon that will land in the next President’s lap and force him to make a political decision on whether to renew it or let it expire.

If the executive amnesty is repealed, the government would probably just grandfather in all those who got amnesty. If something is arguably legal at the time you do it but is revoked or made illegal later, I don’t think you can be penalized retroactively (ex post facto).

They are getting all sorts of welfare now. No one investigates to verify that they are Americans. There are dozens of public and private forms of welfare that they use on a daily basis. I’ve worked with charities in the barrio. Illegals often have more free spending money than you do. Try working off the books, not paying any taxes, not paying for insurance, getting free food and healthcare, and see how it works for you.
When GHW Bush was President the city of Costa Mesa had a rule that only American citizens could live in taxpayer supported housing. HUD genius Jack Kemp flew out here and raised hell, forcing Costa Mesa to let illegal alien foreign nationals live in subsidized housing.
There’s your investigating, and there’s your example of how the GOPe behaves when it’s their turn to enforce our laws. They won’t do it. Like Dubya and Obama they want amnesty.

I live in Tucson, which is close to ground zero for illegals. They used to work for a lot less money than legals would, but over time they began to ask for more and more money, to the point where a lot of them basically priced themselves out of the market. Now, if the want to take part in Obama’s amnesty they’re going to be like the rest of us, paying taxes, social security, and all the other nonsense it cost to live in the US. I predict most of them won’t last long when they see the true cost of “being legal”. I am a business owner, and will not, under any circumstances, hire one of these people. I hope may other business owners take the same stance. There is more than one way to deal with this issue.

Agreed. Why would even an illegal immigrant trust Obama? He is screwing up the country for them as well. There are lots of democratic voters in that group but it doesn’t have to be that way. Hispanics are not a natural lib voting block but demonrats are working hard to destroy their families, emasculate their men, colonize the women and children, destroy their religion, and keep them stupid. Once that is accomplished they will be a permanent Demonrat vote.
One incentive to sign onto Obama Amnesty is now you can travel back and forth from your turd world homeland. I knew someone who was here illegally for 13 years. He finally got legal status and immediately he was traveling back and forth from El Salvador. He was pissed at being afraid to for 13 years. He could not see family and friends
Even if many don’t sign up for Amnesty..... This Amnesty will be a giant flashing neon sign in the third world saying “Come here illegally. You will not be deported and you can wait for the next Amnesty or use forged papers to get in on this one”
No president or future administration will EVER recind this illegal action by Obama.
