Of course he is. He has been the Chair of the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, running the hearings on the IRS scandals. But, he is term limited in that role and will be replaced in the new Congress. The Senate committees that might investigate such misconduct have been chaired by Democrats these last many years.
