I would go along with most of the wonderful ideas posted. But, out of an abundance of caution, I would also try laying on the horn as hard as I could, throughout most of the maneuvers. And I think activating the washers, front and rear, might tend to add even more drama. If the opportunity presented itself, I might also try to catch some fingers in my power windows.
Then, if I got clear of the mob, I would stop and wait until the survivors just about caught up with me again........ And then I would pull away just when got close. Then, I would stop again, till they just about caught up to me, then I would pull ahead a little more...........
