Obama's political legacy fading fast

WASHINGTON — The Obama legacy wasn't supposed to unfold this way.

Barack Obama was changing the political map, pushing the Democratic Party into the South and the Mountain West. He was building a new social network that would endure long after an Obama presidency. And he was building a new Democratic coalition for a new age, with greater turnout from young and minority voters.

Today, those ambitions are in tatters.

Obama's once-vaunted team wound up doing little more than electing him twice. Without Obama on the ticket, Republicans not only soared in 2010 congressional elections, but scored victories broad and deep again in 2014.

>Carville wrote a book about how Democrats will rule for the next 40 years. What happened??<

.
Carville could still be correct in his prediction.

Look into the history of mankind. Every great endeavor will ultimately lead to chaos and renewal.

We are presently in the chaos phase.

The GOP has no long term political strategy, no long term political goals, and no electable national leaders.

When we win elections, it is only because the Democrats stay home, or because we turn out in unusually high numbers.

But the math is against us.

Each year, America naturalizes 750,000 new citizens - 600,000 new Democrats and 150,000 new Republicans.

Each year, more Republicans die than Democrats.

Each year, more Democrats turn 18 than Republicans.

The day is coming - and quite soon - when Republicans will lose no matter how many Democrats stay home.

I don’t think he is finished...if we think Clinton was a buttinski after his time staining sinks in the Oval Office, I think Obama will make Clinton look like a piker.

OFA will continue with Obama and it will work overtime to try and punish the three Cs that Obama hates: classic Christianity, the Constitution, and free market Capitalism.

The Current Occupant had ambitions? In what, duffer golf?

Oh, he probably had this vision of everybody just being able to show at the medical treatment facility, the wise and capable medical practitioners very sagely determining the diagnosis, and prescribing the exact right medication in the exact right dosage, and within days, the patient was back in his comfortable home, enjoying leisure activities and being a highly active consumer of the goods and services the world has to supply. After all, somebody else is picking up the bills

Except the world does not, and never has, worked that way.

And a totalitarian Marxist regime, a democracy in name only, is this “renewal?” *facepalm*
