I thought the scenario was that of conservatives regaining power? Why can’t the Constitution be used as written, then, since it is a matter of power when it comes to the enemies of the country? People will have to see that moral fortitude rather than “payback time” has returned to DC.
It’s not clear that the OP envisioned a rebellious Congress here. If so, then a moral President then needs to command and sweep away the rebels. Right?
