It is clear that the same behavior, morality, culture that result in poverty also cause crime. Quite simple. Poverty does not cause crime. Bad character does. A culture that encourages and perpetuates bad character and immorality does.
My Italian speaking grandmother raised my mother on welfare in a poor neighborhood because grandpop was a gangster and didn’t help with the bills. My mother said you could go out in the middle of the night if you wanted to and it would be safe. Poor doesn’t have to mean you live like animals.

We Italians out here don’t take kindly to the black folk that ruined all of our parents neighborhoods. Wont happen again. Black dude in my neighborhood deli touched my girlfriend’s butt about 15 years ago. Probably still feeling the punches I hit him with. Indian owner told me to go home quickly and everyone in the deli knew not to say a word about how he got hurt. I’m sure he spread the word about what happens if you go into one of those EYEtalian neighborhoods. piece of garbage.
