He’s a man of good character.

A police officer is trained not to shoot to kill unless there is no other choice.

I can’t see any cop acting any different in the circumstances that Officer Wilson faced.

Its a tough job and you live with the consequences of your decisions for the rest of your life.

For that reason alone, he has my complete respect.

I hold police to a fairly high standard, after all, they are our employees.

That said there was justice here if what I read is true.

Just one criticism...If I wanted to subdue someone and I had put 3,4..5 rounds into him I think I would replace my pistol and get out the stick.

Or a feather duster and a loofah.

Three or four into the center of mass and the perp is on life support...why not get out of the way, or the stick/taser/dog/pepper spray?

10-12 shots?

Officer Wilson needs to go underground, change his name and move to the left coast.

Seems he was thrown under the bus for the news cycle.

The man did as he was instructed and he should not be dragged through the mud for that.

Good luck Darren.

And Officer Darren Wilson is a committed Christian with laudable moral values. He's truly a superb role model. And, of course, a native Texan!
