The travesty of Ferguson is watching law enforcement simply standby and let rioters and looters run wild, not just looting, but burning down community businesses. From Obama on down to the police in the street, being bystanders is not courageous, it is dereliction of duty.
Tough to stop people from shitting where they eat. They could but they would need enough bodies to sweep through and announce curfew. Nixon does not have the balls for that.
Just saw about 8-10 officers rush into an Autozone business to head off looters and arsonists out.
As to the many fires burning out of control, hundreds of shots being fired and fire department guys/gals are not carrying weapons nor prepared to shoot back to rioters, so they are being held back where necessary.
Businesses are burning because arsonists, looters, rioters are setting them on fire and law enforcement has been told they cannot respond in such a way to stop what's happening.
Guess where those instructions came from?????
