As much as I respect Reagan, I think historical accuracy demands that we point out that Reagan’s “adversary” was Mikhail Gorbachev.

I don’t think events would have progressed so favorably if Leonid Brezhnev or Vladimir Putin had been General Secretary between 1981-1989.

If you want effective leadership and accomplishment in your cabinet secretaries, DON'T APPOINT SENATORS. Think Hillary, think John Kerry. I cannot think of an effective Cabinet Secretary who was a Senator.

Obama wants American failure, especially in the military (Sen. Hagel) and in foreign policy (Sen. Hillary and Sen. Kerry). Why else appoint such hopelessly incompetent people? Politics? Did they bring much on that front?
