As a former liberal I’ve been telling conservatives this for years. When they scream in your face, punch them. It gets your point across.

You can’t negotiate when you are just too far apart. I’m willing to part ways at that point and as long as I’m not bothered I won’t bother anyone back. Hopefully we will have enough common ground to coexist but if you try to force your point of view on me or make me endorse your position by force... I won’t take it.
